As some of you may be aware, The Nobility was once known as Jetpack. After a few years of operation, it came to the band’s attention that a music act in California who had laid claim to the name prior to the Tennessee Jetpack’s existence….make sense? For one night only, Jetpack will play some tunes as part of the Mercy Lounge 8 off 8th reunion show on April 23rd. Many other great acts will be performing that night as well. On Tuesday, April 24th, the band will go back to being called The Nobility lest we be served copyright infringement papers. See you there.

The Nobility will be making several appearances throughout 2012, but there are two in particular coming up. The first is in Nashville, Tennessee at The Mercy Lounge on Saturday, Jan. 21. The second is at Tidball’s in Bowling Green, Kentucky on February 18. Stay tuned for more.

The Nobility will be performing twice this weekend-December 9th at the Mercy Lounge and December 10th up and down Whitland Avenue.

On Friday night, December 9th, The Nobility will be part of a tribute to John Lennon at The Mercy Lounge (see below). On Saturday, December 10th at 4:30 p.m. The Nobility will be leading a group of friends and fans caroling down Nashville’s historic Whitland Avenue. Feel free to come on out to both events!

On Friday, December 9th, The Nobility will perform a couple of John Lennon tunes at the Imagine No Handgun Violence benefit show at The Mercy Lounge. The proceeds will benefit The Brady Center To Prevent Hand Gun Violence. Good tunes/Good cause.
